FEATURED PROJECTS

This beautiful horse property in RSF was transformed inside and out from its original Spanish Colonial style with barrel tile roof and arched windows to an organic modern farmhouse style with metal roof, modern windows, natural elements and high-end designer details throughout. 8200 sq ft Main Home. 1700 sq Guest house and a fully redone horse stable and riding ring.

Architect Stuart Resor designed homes in the late 1970's whose core structure was telephone poles that were cantilevered on canyon or hillside floors. This Cardiff home overlooking the San Elijo Lagoon and Pacific Ocean was originally built in 1979.  It was taken down to all but the poles and structure that held the two main floors, and was reinvented to become a rustic/modern four-level home including a 3,447-square-foot main house and 220-square-foot guest house.

The original 900 square foot Beach house was built in1956.  Only a few blocks from Sunset Cliffs, the owners knew it was the ideal location to take advantage of their expansive ocean views.  This contemporary design includes indoor/outdoor living with decks on 2 floors, retractable doors, modern materials, designer decor and, of course, those amazing views.

The originial modest home was built in 1947 and was one of the early homes in the Leucadia area.  It sits atop Rainbow Ridge, with views that extend from ocean to the West and the canyons of Encinitas to the East.

Highline transformed the original structure with a full remodel that included added square footage, pool, and a subterranean guest house with a sizeable teak view deck.   The owner chose Highline for this craftsman-inspired rebuild because of our deep experience in creating exposed beam work with concealed joinery, and skill in combining craftsman and contemporary design.
